1. The app and these terms
LumiComic (微光漫画) is provided and maintained by developer liaozhiliang. Contact liaozhiliang222@gmail.com. By downloading or using the app you agree to these terms. Applicable App Store and software licence terms also apply, including Apple’s Standard End User Licence Agreement when no custom licence is supplied.
2. What the app does
LumiComic is a local file reader. It does not provide, sell or recommend any comic content, offers no content search, sources or plug-ins, and never uploads your files anywhere.
3. Your content and copyright
Import only files you have the right to use. You are responsible for the content you import. The app does not handle files protected by digital rights management (DRM) and offers no way around such protection; it tells you when a file is encrypted or protected and cannot be opened.
4. Free features and Pro
Importing and reading every supported format, reading modes, series organisation, reading positions, bookmarks and backup are free forever, with no timed trial. Features that are free at public launch will never become paid or limited. LumiComic Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription; Pro features added later are included at no extra cost. Pro supports Family Sharing and Restore Purchases; refunds are handled by Apple under its rules.
5. If you lose Pro
After a refund, or on a device without the purchase, your library, reading positions, bookmarks and settings keep working; only new Pro actions stop. An existing App Lock can still be unlocked and turned off, but new locks cannot be added.
6. Files and data
The app never writes to your original files. It keeps a copy inside the app when you import, and asks separately whether to delete that copy when you remove a library entry. Data stays only on your device, so the developer cannot recover it for you. Please keep your originals and export a light backup from time to time.
7. Formats and compatibility
The first release supports ZIP/CBZ, RAR/CBR, image folders and fixed-layout comic EPUB. Encrypted or multi-volume archives, DRM-protected files and damaged pages may not open or display fully; please use another reader for text EPUB and PDF. Actual support depends on your installed version.
8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The app is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, the developer does not guarantee that it suits every purpose or is free of errors, and is not liable beyond what the law requires for data loss, device problems or consequences of using imported content. Nothing here limits your statutory rights.
9. Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will change the date on this page; significant changes will be noted in the app's release notes. Continuing to use the app means you accept the updated terms. Questions: liaozhiliang222@gmail.com.
