1. Scope and contact
This policy covers the LumiComic (微光漫画) iOS app and its support website. The developer is liaozhiliang; contact liaozhiliang222@gmail.com. LumiComic is a local comic reader. It needs no account and provides no comic content.
2. Processed and stored on your device
Copies of the comics you import, your library records (titles, series, volumes and chapters, covers, reading status), reading positions, bookmarks and settings are processed and stored only on your device. Covers, thumbnails and page caches live in the device cache and are rebuilt if the system clears them. We run no server that receives this data, build no cloud library or reading profile, sell no data, and include no advertising, cross-app tracking, third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDK. Apart from Apple’s StoreKit talking to the App Store when you buy or restore Pro, the app makes no network requests.
3. System features you choose to use
Import reads only the files you hand to the app through Files, the share sheet or Open in LumiComic. Files in iCloud Drive or other cloud storage are downloaded by that file provider. Archives are opened read-only and your original files are never modified. If you turn on App Lock, Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode is checked by iOS; the app only learns whether the check succeeded and never receives biometric data. While App Lock is on, the app switcher preview is covered.
4. Backup and export
A light backup exports library records, reading positions, bookmarks and settings into one file, without the comic files themselves. You choose where to save it; if you save it to iCloud Drive or a similar service, that service handles it. Comic file copies are excluded from iOS device backups. Library records and settings may be included in your iOS device backup, which Apple handles under its own terms.
5. In-app purchase
LumiComic Pro is a one-time purchase through the App Store. Payment, refunds and account details are handled by Apple; the developer never sees your Apple ID or payment information. The app confirms purchase status on your device through Apple's StoreKit and does not send purchase records to the developer.
6. Diagnostics provided by Apple
If you choose to Share With App Developers in iOS settings, Apple may provide the developer with aggregated crash and performance reports through App Store Connect. This is your choice in system settings; the app collects nothing extra.
7. When you contact us
If you email us, your email address, description, screenshots or files are used only to reply and resolve your issue, never for marketing, and are deleted once no longer needed. Please do not send copyrighted comic files or personal details unrelated to the issue; a screenshot of file names or folder structure is usually enough.
8. Support website
This website is static, with no analytics scripts, cookies, forms or third-party fonts. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may process access logs such as IP addresses and browser details for security and operations.
9. Children
The app collects no personal information from anyone, and does not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Deleting your data
You can delete library entries and their file copies in the app, or delete the app to remove all local data. Exported backup files are yours to keep or delete.
11. Changes to this policy
If we ever add networking, sync, analytics or other data processing, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy details before that feature ships, and change the date on this page.
